Choosing Your Slab
Material comes down to how much upkeep you are willing to take on. Granite and quartzite are natural stone with veining that runs differently on every slab and neither one minds heat. Quartz is engineered and non-porous so there is no sealing to remember and soap and water does the job. We carry Cambria, Silestone, MSI and Pental so there is no shortage of colors to look through. Laminate is there if the budget calls for it and solid surface is worth a look if you want an integrated sink and seamless joins.
What the Process Looks Like
The first visit is free and there is nothing attached to it. We come out with full samples, edge profiles you can run a hand along, and Karran sink and faucet finishes to hold against your cabinet hardware. We measure everything and leave you with a real number instead of a range.
When you are ready we pull the old counters, haul them off and set the new slab with the adhesive and joint sealing. Plan on about 24 hours before running water through the sink so it all cures properly. We walk the finished job with you before we leave, and anything that needs adjusting gets sorted then rather than on a follow-up call.
